Turn in an Armed Felon---And Make Money!

San Antonio Police Chief Bill McManus says there's a reward for anyone who helps them nab an armed felon.

"We have criminals walking the streets
carrying guns so if you have been convicted of a felony, you are in violation of the law if you are in possession of a gun."

SAPD is banding with Crimestoppers to
find armed felons and get them
behind bars.

They want anyone who
knows an armed felon to call
Crimestoppers and report it.

"If you know someone
who is carrying a gun and
they were convicted of
a felony, please call
Crimestoppers to report it,"
says McManus.

Crimestoppers
Bob Vallance says it opens
the door to safer streets.

"We'll offer the reward
and if they have other criminal
activity going on, it will
help us solve additional crimes."
