Pharrell Williams is looking to add to his trophy collection at Sunday's Academy Awards.

The Grammy-winning producer's hit single "Happy" from the animated film Despicable Me 2 is in the running for Best Original Song.

Perhaps, the song's stiffest competition comes from U2's song "Ordinary Love" from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. Pharrell's "Happy" is also the first single from his upcoming album G I R L, which will arrive on March 3rd.  The track is currently number one on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Pharrell Williams is also slated to perform during Sunday's awards ceremony.  ABC will broadcast the ceremony live beginning at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.  The network will also stream the festivities online.
